Dawley Manufacturing traces its beginning to 1978, when founder Larry Dawley was involved in a multitude of manufactured products associated with light gauge stainless steel welding. The opportunity to use these skills was initiated when Dawley Aviation was opened in 1985. Dawley Aviation is an FAA registered repair station specializing in general aviation aircraft exhausts. The company is viewed as the pioneer of FAA certified exhaust repairs. It has over ½ million repairs successfully completed since inception. The company’s products are world class with a multitude of accomplishments and records associated with their products. Dawley Aviation is also the exclusive provider of exhaust systems to the EAA Museum in Oshkosh, Wisconsin.
In 1993 Dawley Manufacturing was incorporated to focus on ancillary products relating to the general aviation components. The new division was established as a PMA, (Parts Manufacture Approval) FAA certified company NQ2563CE, and purchased the assets of Elano Corporation (General Electrics General Aviation Division) which included thousands of tools, fixtures, and OEM drawings. Today, AS9100 & ISO9001 certified, the company thoroughly screens each product through a team feasibility and has a committed process which evaluates the customers’ requirements against the rigorous needs of the aerospace industry. The manufacturing division provides products to a diverse host of industries including aerospace, nuclear, military, aviation, medical, automotive, and consumer. Services include component fabrication, tube bending, certified welding assemblies, aircraft exhausts precision stampings, machining, laser cutting and subcontracted services to meet the customers’ needs. Innovative solutions result when partnering with clients in the early project development stage of their processes. The approach guarantees customer satisfaction at every level of the business as product performance is complimented with the knowledge of design intent for each new opportunity.
